Made during Boisbuschet workshop run by London based designer Philippe Malouin. The brief proposed the creation of a Wabi - Sabi concept for a tea table set.
The bamboo table only works when in synergy with the ceramic tea set finds it’s balance creating a strong bond between both. The japanease wabi-sabi esthetic comes from the assemblage of bamboo canes using yuta as the main joinery, the ceramic pieces have been shaped in a pottery wheel.
